Greg Geller is the Founder and CEO of Stack Energy Consulting. With nearly 20 years of experience in business, politics, and the clean energy regulatory landscape, Greg leads with the passion and expertise necessary to achieve winning outcomes for Stack’s customers. During his 13 years at EnerNOC and Enel North America, he oversaw dozens of successful initiatives to create new revenue opportunities and to eliminate costly regulatory barriers for clean energy and climate tech.
Through July 2023, Greg served on Enel’s executive team as VP of Regulatory Affairs, managing a team that supported all business lines, including market leaders in Virtual Power Plants and Distributed Energy Resources (demand response, energy storage, distributed solar), utility-scale renewables, and electric mobility. Through his role on the executive team and reporting to Enel North America’s CEO, Greg informed and influenced Enel’s go-to-market strategy.
Prior to joining EnerNOC, Greg served in New York City politics and earned his MBA from Boston University while consulting to Deepwater Wind as they prepared to build the first U.S. offshore wind farm. Greg serves on the Board of NY-BEST, the largest energy storage trade association in NY.
Alex Worsley joined Stack Energy Consulting as a Principal in February 2023 as Stack’s first employee. Alex brings to the Stack team and clients a deep understanding of wholesale markets, retail programs, and stakeholder processes. His entire career has been dedicated to advancing policy to support clean energy technology development and looks forward to bringing that passion and knowledge to help clients navigate the regulatory environment and markets to achieve commercial success.
Prior to working for Stack, Alex was a Senior Manager of Regulatory Affairs for Enel North America supporting all of Enel’s business lines (including utility scale renewables, demand response, and storage) in the New England, New York, and Ontario markets. Before that, Alex served as a consultant with Boreas Renewables, supporting utility-scale renewable energy and storage clients in the New England markets. Alex excels at summarizing complicated market issues in a digestible, commercially actionable manner.
Alex currently serves on the Massachusetts Grid Modernization Advisory Council, providing support to the Massachusetts utilities on their Electric System Modernization Plans, and has previously served as the Vice Chair of the Emerging Technologies Working Group in the NEPOOL stakeholder process. Alex graduated from Cornell University with a Master of Engineering.
